History of company
Alco, Automatic Liquid Controls, founded in Kolin, Czech Republic in 1925. At the first Alco company just produced valves and after a while it started to manufacture other components.
The world’s first refrigeration automatic expansion valve was made in 1925 by Alco Company. In a short time, with emphasis on “Expertise and Evolution are keys of success” sentence, Alco was improved and extended the business around the world.
Emerson electric company purchased the Alco Company in 1967.

Today Alco Controls™, part of the Emerson Group, is the leading provider of precision mechanical controls for the refrigeration and air conditioning markets, and together with the range of electronic controls from Emerson Alco continues to pioneer the control of refrigerant flow with innovative design, keeping system performance optimization central to our product development.
All components of Alco Controls, mechanical as well as electronic, are designed and manufactured to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability in Emerson electronic engineering centers, sales offices and plants in Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Spain, United kingdom, Romania, Italy, India, Chain , United stated and others countries not only to meet the customers requirements, but also to challenge the technology.
